L'Agenzia è stata fondata nel 1974, per svolgere le varie attività del settore Business Travel, organizzazione Congressi e Fiere, Incentive-Tours e Viaggi Premio. Dispone di due uffici in Torino e Orbassano adibiti per curare in particolare modo i viaggi d' affari per importanti Aziende del Piemonte.

Nel 1975, ha aperto il Dipartimento Incoming, occupandosi di alcuni tra i piu' notevoli avvenimenti di grande richiamo della Città, tra cui: il Congresso dei 1.000 Sindaci a Torino, l' Anno Internazionale del Fanciullo, l' Incoming A.S.T.A. (Ass. Agenti di viaggio americani) per la Regione Piemonte, fino all' organizzazione dei servizi turistici durante il Congresso N.A.T.O. di Torino per i Delegati di numerose Nazioni europee e per gli Usa. Tra le ultime operazioni: si è occupata dell' assistenza dei giornalisti dei Paesi dell' Est Europeo, durante il Convegno di Maastricht, al Lingotto e, quale Official Sponsor Suppliers, ha aperto un ufficio logistico a Sestriere, in occasione dei Campionati Mondiali di Sci Alpino, per prestare assistenza alle squadre, ai giornalisti accreditati ed ha organizzato le vendite nel mondo dei posti riservati in tribune.
Nel settore incentives la Promotur ha curato il "Golden Passport" per conto della Benson & Hedges, nonchè la stampa di cataloghi a premi per alcune Aziende Leaders in Italia.
La Promotur ha 49 dipendenti, di cui alcuni con oltre 30 anni di esperienza in ogni campo del turismo. E' stata la prima agenzia in Italia ad esser collegata al Sistema delle Teleprenotazioni delle F.S. (T.P.N.) nel 1974 e tra le prime in Italia ad avere i terminali Arco - Alitalia. Ora è collegata con tutte le reti dei principali C.R.S. (Computer Reservation System)ed è ufficio succursale del Touring Club Italiano. Un servizio di fattorini, due volte al giorno, recapita a domicilio i vari biglietti di trasporto prenotati.
Promotur was the first Italian Agency to be connected to the T.S.P. system (Railway Booking System) and one of the first adopting the Alitalia Arco System.
The business has grown over the years and two new branches have been opened in Turin and Orbassano in order to better cover the demand in different geographical areas.
Today it is connected to the most important C.R.S.(Computer Reservation System) and it is a branch office of the Italian Touring Club.
The current 49 staff members are organised in dedicated teams each of them expert in their field and lead by personnel with over 30 years experience in the tourist sector.
We have a customer direct delivery service twice a day for travel documents.
Since the Incoming Department was opened in 1975, Promotur has played a major role in organising significant events in Turin and in the Piedmont Region such as:
The International Year Child, the A.S.T.A. incoming for Piedmont region, tourist services for European and American Delegates for the NATO congress that was held in Turin. In recent years Promotur has accommodated the Eastern European journalists during the Maastricht Meeting at the Lingotto Congress Centre. In the 1997 World Skiing Championship it was the world ticket supplier for the stands, and being one of the sponsor/supplier it was involved in the delivery of services to the Teams, to the journalists and accredited people( VIP).
In the Company incentive field, Promotur has arranged the "Golden Passport" by appointment of the Benson & Hedges, and it has designed and published catalogues for some of the leading tour operators in Italy.
Airlines reservations
Thanks to the direct connection to 300 Airlines, the airways department can make reservations in real time on 5 million national and international itineraries, assuring the best fares offered by the Airlines.
The hotel department can offer special "corporate rates" in over 10.000 hotels worldwide and preferential conditions for car rental.
We are specialised in organising Fair and Congress from the smallest to the greatest all over the world thanks to the fact that we are member of the G.E.B.T.A. (Guild of European Travel Agents).
